The NET Bible (OSNOVA ed.) is now available from the OSNOVA Store

The NET Bible is a new English translation of the Bible, with 60,932 translators’ notes! It was completed by more than 25 scholars – experts in the original biblical languages – who worked directly from the best currently available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts.

The translators’ notes make the original languages far more accessible, allowing you to look over the translator’s shoulder at the very process of translation. This level of documentation is a first for a Bible translation, making transparent the textual basis and the rationale for key renderings (including major interpretive options and alternative translations).

This unparalleled level of detail helps connect people to the Bible in the original languages in a way never before possible without years of study of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. It unlocks the riches of the Bible’s truth from entirely new perspectives.

OSNOVA’s Kindle edition of the NET Bible provides an excellent formatting and navigation that Christians have come to expect from OSNOVA Kindle publications. The OSNOVA edition incorporates an active table of contents, a 5-way controller navigation between chapters and books, a cross-reference system between the Bible text and the translators’ notes, and the innovative navigation aid called Direct Verse Jump 2 (DVJ-2), which makes it easy to open any Bible verse in mere seconds. The complete instructions on how to use all navigation aids in this publication are found at the beginning of the book.

I have previously purchased a version with DVJ-2. Is this a revised version of that?

I have a Kindle three and my DVJ-2 doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong? Plus, I don’t have the instructions included. I have a brief intro, followed by the Table of Contents. I would appreciate any help!
    Sincerely,
    Shannon

    • Shannon, could you please check if the table of contents looks like http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51XYz%2BMoGrL.gif
If not, then you may have bought a non-OSNOVA NET Bible from Amazon. The copyrightholder decided to discontinue selling OSNOVA edition and replaced it with their own. If you don’t have an OSNOVA edition of the NET Bible, then I can’t be of help. You will need to talk to the folks at bible.org or Amazon. The OSNOVA Store has the OSNOVA edition.
